Upload of EA for backtesting

Hi,

Is it possible to upload/import an EA, that is not generated in Expert Advisor Studio or FSB, to EAS or FSB for backtesting?

Hello Invest,

I am not sure if I get the question, but if you are asking if you can import EAs that you bought from the market or one that you coded, no, you can not.

The EA Studio and FSB Pro are very optimized programs to have excellent code. If someone imports an EA that has a messy code, the programs won’t work the way they work now.

However, you can build the EAs from the Strategy Editor. Place the entry and exit rules, SL, TP, and all the EA has, and then you can backtest it or export the strategy as an EA without issues in the code.
